FIRE PROTECTION.

Fire protection is an integral part of any build. Our team are experts in the planning and installation of passive fire protection in all types of buildings. This includes fire protection barriers which are essential in compartmentalising and stopping the spread of a fire, should it break out in a building. Failure to install these properly can prove fatal.

When installed, mechanical and electrical services such as pipes, conduits, ductwork and cables by necessity breach compartment walls and floors. These penetrating services, any resulting gaps around the services and incomplete compartment voids within a building can cause fire and smoke integrity or insulation failure if not fire stopped adequately.

A range of fire stopping systems have been fully tested and are available to provide up to 4 hours integrity. For traffic areas load bearing constructions can be installed to provide specific fire and load performance capacity.

MSFC Ltd work with clients on a range of fire strategy requirements offering versatile fire stopping specification solutions to ensure building compartmentation protection are provided and maintained at site.

During our work and on completion of fire stopping installations we are able to produce records of who installed, which area the work was carried out in, what specified system was used to protect the area and when the work was done. Each installation can be physically identified through an electronic data recording process with detailed drawings and photographic support available. Each individual penetration will be labelled with our company’s contact information that is fitted to each fire stop or compartment area on site.
